The Long Barn is adjacent to Ty Twt and Cuddfan and is open for guests’ use. It has a huge hearth for glorious fires.

 Play games, sing, play the piano, lounge or whatever.

The cob fireplace is built of about six tons of clay and stones we dug by hand from the fields. We mixed it up by hand and stomped with our feet, added some straw reinforcement, slammed into brick moulds and slobbed the fire cob. This took everyday for 6 months –

Thank goodness it works – very well in fact.
